What a (mud) fest we had for this year’s edition!

Midweek, we still weren’t quite sure if the 2024 edition could even take place… Under pouring rain, the organizing team tried to mark the trails as best as possible… Chalk spray couldn’t be used because the ground was completely soaked… We had no choice but to use only signs and barrier tape…

Then on Thursday, a storm was also forecasted, and we feared that many more trees would fall, as we had already cleared numerous trees and branches from the course the previous weekend. There was a fear that the challenge would turn into an obstacle course.

But things turned out differently… As the ground dried up rather quickly, we were able to improve the course markings with chalk spray just before the races. And as fate would have it, the skies cleared up over the weekend, and participants were able to start under pleasant temperatures, enjoying the sunny autumn conditions after their efforts.

The incredible photos from our partner WildnessVisual testify to the success of the event and are now available via the following link:

Additionally, we wanted to thank all of you for making this year’s AGORA Red Rock Challenge such a success!

This year, we:

  1. counted the highest number of participants to date,
  2. celebrated a mudfest,
  3. offered new gravel routes that pushed participants to their limits… and we have many new ideas for 2025 that we want to implement based on your feedback.

Where can I find all the necessary information and more?

And as always, mark the second weekend of October 2025 in your calendars, because that’s when the Indian Summer returns for the Agora Red Rock Challenge!

Best regards,

Your Red Rock Challenge Team!
